March Madness Gone at Tomorrow's End

Another month in the year 2012 already gone and I painting up a storm here at home.
I have a new image up of a loved painting called Rainy Day and have posted another one of yoga which is one of my favorite things to do.
I hope that the economy improves and that life becomes easier for all of my artist friends as it has been a tough go for the last 3 or 4 years in the art world.
Spring is always a wonderful time for promises of things to come. I look forward to those promises and promise to get more events and images on this blog.

Objects I paint on besides wood and canvas

This blog will be about the other things I do besides painting on canvas and recycled wood.
The image selected for this blog is on a painted cigar box.
One of my favorite things to do is to take recycled objects, build an assemblage form and then paint, glue found objects, paint some more, add, add, add, until they are all done.
I just created a nude assemblage for the Manic Moon Studio and she is an interesting little being.
She has mostly paint as I am a painter.
I also teach assemblage workshops at the Blanchard Community Center and the Manic Moon Studios. I provide most of the materials and show people how to get started.
